Monocacy Junk Removal is a small father/son-owned business based in Adamstown, MD. We are a family-owned business composed of a father-son duo living in Adamstown MD.
We just got started in 2023, and we’re excited to make a name for ourselves. Our prices are lower than most, because we don’t spend a ton on fancy logos and websites. We keep things simple, which keeps our services low for you.
We’re proud to offer employment opportunities to people who have disabilities that sometimes make typical jobs more difficult to acquire. (Questions about this? Email us!)
We know we have to earn your five star reviews, but we’re not worried. We just let our work speak for itself!
We offer a range of services, including junk removal, light hauling, garage cleanouts, appliance removal, residential cleanouts, and more. We service Frederick, Urbana, Mt Airy, Clarksburg, Germantown, Adamstown, Middletown, Potomac, Poolesville, Brunswick, Westminster and Thurmont.
Our Team
The whole is much more than the sum of its parts. Meet our team!
Jonathan Chance
Owner
Jonathan is a gifted mechanic in an apprenticeship program for a local dealership in Frederick. He can often be found underneath his friend’s cars. He loves to pull dead mowers out of the garbage and get them running again.
David Chance
Manager
David is a forensic analyst for the government and spends his days investigating cyber intrusions. He is a veteran after serving as a linguist and an interrogator for the US Army. His hobbies are camping and building high powered rockets. He has several cats and dozens of chickens as pets. David has been married for 20 years to Nina.
Kristopher Fowler
assistant
Kris is a young adult and is currently learning how to live independently with mild disabilities. He became friends with David in 2010 when David was assigned to mentor him through a YMCA mentorship program. Although the program ended, they are still friends to this day. Kris loves cats and dogs and helping to remove junk. He hopes to one day learn to drive and save enough money to buy a truck.
